I used to watch sailing adventures but they seemed to be a bit too commercial; selling energy drinks, bikinis&trinkets, I was happy with spits, bonfires&seashells. So I stopped for awhile til I found something easy a Wharram cat is pure simplicity. While you may not win at an Americas Cup pace, you'll still be sailing while they slept ashore after the race. I'm finishing a Wharram: Twill be launched by May. Perhaps we'll meet over coconuts in some fine bay someday.

Propeller tips bends on high speed getting too close to power line or even touching it -I would not place the turbine at the mast top it will attract lightning with copper cable running through your system.You gain more output by placing it higher but you will suffer from cable loss.Lover the voltage shorter the distance should be between power source or thicker wire.Jump start cables are thick for a reason.I hope you have much thicker copper wire running all the way to the water for lightning protection.Stay safe

I find a window squeegee blade works really well for wiping slime off the bottom.

I raised my waterline by 4" and I don't have to worry about slime above the waterline anymore.

I would think you could take some copper pipe and sand a bunch of powder from it and add it to ablative paint. Maybe a cup per gal. I don't know if copper coat saves you any money if you're having to clean it biweekly.
